Mosaic Judge Selection

Mosaic judges are selected through a rigorous, invitation-only process. We do not accept volunteer applications for judging roles.

Potential judges are identified and vetted by a selection committee composed of eight members of our internal organizing team and twelve hand-selected community advisors who are established leaders in product development, artificial intelligence, and technology entrepreneurship.

Each potential judge is evaluated based on three criteria:

• A demonstrated professional track record building and shipping production AI systems or leading technical product development.
• Sufficient technical depth to evaluate AI implementations, system architecture, and deployment considerations.
• Recognized standing in the field through entrepreneurial success, leadership roles, or industry acknowledgment.

For Mosaic AI Buildathon 2025, our selection committee reviewed over 200 candidates from our network of more than 220,000 product builders and technology professionals across 35+ cities worldwide. Invitations were extended to only 10 individuals, reflecting an acceptance rate below 5%.
