Your Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Headspace’s member engagement experiences.
  • Drive personalization across the platform using behavioral data, clinical insights, and AI-driven recommendations to guide each member’s mental health journey.
  • Build and scale conversational AI experiences within the Headspace app that change the way mental health care is delivered — making support feel more timely, human, and effective.
  • Own key engagement, retention, and outcomes metrics — with a relentless focus on creating value for our members.
  • Partner with engineering, design, content, clinical, and marketing to bring innovative, empathetic, and high-quality experiences to life.
  • Be a voice for the member across the company, helping align cross-functional teams around an ambitious and inspiring product vision.
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing product team, cultivating a culture of curiosity, accountability, and impact.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 12+ years of product management experience with at least 5 years leading high-performing teams.
  • Proven success building and scaling engaging consumer products — especially those driven by personalization, behavioral data, or user journeys.
  • Deep understanding of user engagement loops, retention strategies, and habit formation — ideally within health, wellness, or mission-driven categories.
  • Hands-on experience working with AI/ML teams to bring smart, adaptive product experiences to life.
  • A passionate belief in the power of technology to make mental healthcare more accessible and effective.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to inspire teams and influence at the executive level.
  • Experience building, leading and collaborating effectively with cross-functional, hybrid and/or remote teams.
  • People focused leader adept at fostering innovative and collaborative teams.
  • Skilled in talent development and aligning team performance with strategic business goals
