Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction and roadmap for UPI payments products, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs.
  • Drive product development from conception to launch, including defining features, prioritizing requirements, and overseeing implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Define and track key performance metrics, analyzing data to make informed product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, payment networks, regulators, and technology partners, to drive product adoption and compliance.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to UPI payments, and incorporate insights into product strategy and development. Being a dynamic organization, role will keep evolving based on appetite and performance.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record of success in product management, with at least 4 years of experience in payments or fintech, preferably with a focus on UPI.
  • Strong understanding of the UPI ecosystem, including regulations, technical standards, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making, combined with a bias for action and results.
  • Experience managing complex projects and driving consensus in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for innovation and a customer-centric mindset, with a relentless focus on delivering value to users and driving business growth.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead through change, with a willingness to roll up sleeves and tackle challenges head-on.
