Your Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the category by performing analysis of market/customer segments and understand any technology opportunity and conduct strategic competitive analysis.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer needs, products in the market, the suppliers, and be on top of trends that shape the category and product vertical. Conduct market and customer research to shape future roadmap, develop product and solution concepts.
  • Plan and execute category / product launch seamlessly by working closely with all the teams within the organization.
  • Responsible for P&L of the category.
  • Seek continuous feedback from the consumers through online and offline mechanisms to get a feel of the constantly evolving customer requirements and maintain a high CSAT & NPS in the with the customers.
  • To support product marketing/sales proposals/decisions with comprehensive business rationale. Lead early product sales pursuits.
  • Work closely with functional leads and other team members to define product and solution level details required to deliver the next generation of products and solutions to market that meet the customer s needs.
  • Interact directly with customers in an international setup to understand their requirements.
  • Collaborate with partners and product & engineering team to define the marketecture and influence the roadmap of the product. Provide market/customer context to the product & engineering team.
  • Identify key initiatives by understanding business problems/pain areas or processes. Own initiatives that drive organization wide impact (in terms of cost, process improvement, quality, etc.). Drive key business metrics.
  • Review and appraise high performance, coach inadequate performance, and enable junior members of the team for high quality outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in engineering from Tier 1 institute with 4-8 years of experience with 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Senior/Product Manager or Category manager supply chain/warehouse/Retail industry.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management is required.
  • International exposure and ability to interact with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Excellent Stakeholder manager with strong negotiation and articulation skills.
  • Strong business/financial acumen and quantitative skills, excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Domain knowledge of Supply Chain/Warehouse Industry is preferable.
  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering from a top tier institute is necessary
  • Master s Degree / MBA would be an added advantage
