General Instructions for this Edition

• 3 Sprints: This challenge runs across 3 independent 15-day sprints. Each sprint will have a unique theme/problem statement (provided by Emergent, TPF, or self-selected).
• Participation: Individuals only. You can join any or all sprints. No dependency between them.
• Kickoff AMA: At the start of each sprint, we’ll host an AMA session to clarify problem statements and demo Emergent.
• Deliverables: Each sprint requires a working solution built using Emergent.
• Community: Follow updates via email and our dedicated WhatsApp group to stay in sync.

Context & Goal

Emergent simplifies full-stack app development into natural conversations. But raw capability is only the beginning. The next frontier is showcasing how creators, makers, and problem-solvers can use Emergent to tackle real-world challenges across themes like:

• Sprint 1 : AI for Productivity, Smart Fintech, New Age Commerce, Green Impact / Sustainability
• Sprint 2 : AI & Gaming, Digital Health, Travel & Mobility, Future of Learning
• Sprint 3 : Creator Economy, Smart Cities, AI Agents & Automation, Mental Health & Wellbeing

Goal:

• Explore how Emergent can be applied in diverse contexts

• Push creative and functional boundaries of agentic software development
  
  

Your Task

For each sprint:

1. Understand the theme/problem statement (or choose your own).
   
   
2. Build a functional app using Emergent (must include frontend + backend + deploy).
   
   
3. Document your process - how you prompted Emergent, what iterations were needed.
   
   
4. Submit deliverables:
   
   • Emergent link of your project
     
     

Judging Criteria

• Creativity – Novelty of idea & relevance to the sprint theme
  
  
• Execution – How well the app works end-to-end on Emergent
  
  
• User value – Practicality & impact of the solution
  
  
• Process clarity – Quality of deck/video in showing journey & learnings
  
  
• Scalability – How the solution can evolve or extend

• Sprint 2: 10 Oct →  26 Oct - AMA 11 Oct
• Sprint 3: 31 Oct → 16 Nov - AMA 1 Nov

Each Sprint Winner gets:

• 1st place → $3k
• 2nd place → $2k
• 3rd place → $1k
