Your Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

Product Strategy:  

  1. Drive product strategy, build roadmaps and be the lead on product initiatives across 2 product initiatives that will be a part of the Growth Platforms team (to solve for both Media buying and Media Management problems for customers)
  2. Own the media buying platform to optimize for advertiser outcomes across install and post-install events. As a part of this, also build the right tools for publishers who work through the platform and help solve for their needs to enable campaign scale-up seamlessly.  
  3. Ideate, iterate and arrive at the right product prioritization for development, MVP decisions for GTM on the platforms.  
  4. Understand market and customer context in comparison with competition to evaluate the right adjacencies for the platform. Identify, evaluate and enable new business growth areas (Cost Per lead, for BFSI/other verticals, Cost per Sale for D2C advertisers )  for the performance business through organic or inorganic tactics.  

Execution:

  1. Define – Build clear and well defined scope requirements to educate on the need and expected outcomes of new features that can act as a reference for both technical and business folks.  
  2. Innovation - Build new features that enable the platform to make on media quality, cold start recommendations for new advertisers and anti-fraud solutions to deliver optimum quality through the platform  
  3. Automation - In collaboration with the engineering team, evaluate the right ML/AI models to predict performance accurately for  campaigns.  
  4. Ownership – Own, track and monitor key platform hygiene metrics such as customer retention, upsell, conversion and fraud metrics along with adoption of features being developed.  

Stakeholder management :  

  1. Manage and mentor a small team of product managers under you. Be a culture champion as a part of the leadership team at Growth Platforms to mentor and mould other potential product managers.  
  2. Partner closely with the engineering team to articulate product features, collect feedback and ensure that product features are being built in a stable and consistent fashion with what is expected.  
  3. Work with Product Marketing, Account management and Sales enablement teams to build, tweak and land the right narrative with advertisers and help keep them abreast on the new platform initiatives.
  4. Be the face of the Product team for the Growth platforms across internal stakeholders (regional GMs, sellers, other product teams) and external forums (advertisers, attribution products and so on).

Required Skills and Experience

What do we expect from you? 

  • 4+ years in Product Management or similar roles, building and scaling platforms that deal with real-time problems & handle data sets to make the right decisions
  • A good understanding of the performance marketing and advertising ecosystem, preferably with a DSP/Attribution/Mobile engagement platform.  
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams to build consensus, enable execution and negotiating for the right outcomes.  
  • Ability to influence, articulate catalysts and tradeoffs whenever required with senior leadership across InMobi on key platform decisions.  
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with geographically dispersed and culturally diverse teams
